During the summer, Albany Leadership teacher Mrs. Kristen Church received the Making a Difference award from CAP COM Federal Credit Union.
This award recognizes students and teachers who are devoted to helping others through their commitment to community service. Each recipient receives a $1,000 award. Teachers like Mrs. Church will use their award towards classroom projects. In addition to the individual award, each recipient can nominate a community organization of their choice to receive a $100 award towards the organizations’ mission.
