Meet Ms. Felicia Woods

High School Assistant Principal

Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. My name is Felicia Woods, your reliable Assistant Principal.
With over 8 years of experience in education and a strong commitment to student success, I am dedicated to supporting not only our school but our community as well.
I had the privilege of growing up right here in Albany, receiving my associates degree in Education concentration in Mathematics from Schenectady Community College.
I then transferred to SUNY University at Albany to obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology minor in Africana Studies.
A forever student I then went on to Grand Canyon University and now hold a master’s degree in Elementary Education and currently pursuing my second master’s degree in Educational Leadership, specializing in School Administration.
Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal, I served as a teacher for several years, working closely with students from diverse backgrounds and various grade levels. As an assistant principal, I aim to leverage this knowledge to create a productive and inclusive learning environment.
I enjoy family trips with my husband and four beautiful children, creating events, crafting, doing hair, and shopping!
