Meet Ms. Marshay Hines
Middle School Principal
ALCS Community: We are sad to see our Middle School Principal, Dr. Jennie Evans, depart from our Albany Leadership family after nine years of dedication to our girls and our mission. We can’t thank you enough for all of your dedication and hard work throughout your years here. We wish you all of the success and happiness in your future endeavors.
She has made it top priority to leave her leadership role in good hands. With that, we are elated to announce our new MS Principal, Ms. Marshay Hines.

Greetings Albany Leadership Community.
I am Ms. Marshay Hines. I am a lifelong resident of the Southend of Albany, New York.
As an educator, active community member, and youth advocate; I aim to provide the resources and skills for our scholars, families, educators, and community members to be productive citizens in the community they reside in with a diversified and inclusive lens.
I have a Bachelor in Liberal Arts and a Masters of Public Administration. I have been in the education field for the past 11 years as a Middle School Lead ELA teacher as well as a Community School Site Director within the Albany City School District.
I enjoy basketball, event planning and decorating, and creating Tik Tok’s with my daughter.
