Recently, Albany Leadership’s Community and Communications Associate, Amanda Williams began hosting a virtual meeting titled, the Community Partner Coffee Hour. This event was created in response to the COVID-19 crisis and the safety precautions taken by the school to protect its staff and students as well as its community partners. In previous years, Albany Leadership hosted a Community Partner Breakfast that took place at the start of each academic year. This breakfast previously held on-site, celebrates our community partners as well as reignites conversations, collaborations, and projects.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Albany Leadership reimagined the in-person yearly event as a monthly virtual meeting. The new coffee hours set to occur once per month are designed to expand the celebration and collaboration between Albany Leadership and its partners.

“This format allows us to continue the conversation with each of our partners throughout the year, build on seasonal projects in new ways, and celebrate our collective victories. This also allows us to learn more about the needs of our partner organizations, if someone needs volunteers, we can learn about it and share it with our service-learning department promptly” – Amanda Williams

The community partner coffee hour meets once per month. To learn more contact, Ms. Williams, at awilliams@alhsg.org.
